PROJECT OVERVIEW

Location: 103 Roxeby Road Subiaco, WA

Architect: Owner, State Government

Located along this main street, Rokeby Road which runs through the heart of Subiaco this development. was awarded to KMC Group having been selected from a list of similar sized Builders to tender on the project. The Contract was a mixture of new and old, whereby the Architect Phillip Griffiths needed to retain the existing facade of the building but develop the rear to maximize the potential of the land. Due to the timeframe for the project, the Client was unable to cease trading and KMC Group had to prepare a project programme to minimize the impact on the construction activities but also the exposure to the retail store. Five new modern and vibrant retail tenancies were designed and built with pedestrian frontage. All the units were leased within a short space of time due to the design, quality of the finishes and the location. Whilst a constraint site with minimal site storage and no facilities for a site compound the KMC construction team was able to overcome these issues with careful Project Management, a co-operative Client and a team of experienced and professional sub-contractors.
